Amazing and beautiful historic church built at great sacrifice by locals during the Great Depression. Famously, the walls contain more gold ore than any other building in the state of Utah.
While the church was being built, a local took a load of gold ore to the railway station. He found he could not afford the cost to ship the ore to the smelters in northern Utah. So instead he brought the load to the church's construction site, and donated the ore.
This was not the only donation or rock to the construction, but perhaps the most dramatic. Locals brought many rocks from their own rock collections to donate to the walls, contributing to the unique and stunning appearance of this landmark.

An old chapel built from local materials in a time period after the great depression. Very beautiful inside as well as the stones for the out side. The design is different from other Mormon chapels in design only. They still have worship services at this time. In the summer they have tours.
