Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.

I had a brother who got married here. I wasn't able to go inside and be there for the wedding because the religion doesn't consider me worthy to enter. For a church that claims to be all about family, it isn't.

I love this temple. If you look at the windows, they have a square for the floor you are on. One for the first floor two for the second three for the third.

I hope all the workers on the Thursday AM shift will see this. I came early to do baptisms and I felt like a queen. Every single worker I interacted with ministered to me with such love and kindness. I couldn’t help but think the entire time about how Jesus Christ taught us to minister to the one and each worker did that. They were Christ’s hands and feet and I felt so loved.
