- JCJohn CutlerSep 13, 20255.0In September 2025, we visited the LDS Church at 165 North 350 West in American Fork, Utah. This is a larger-sized LDS Church, known as a Stake Center, and this particular Stake Center is known as the American Fork Hillcrest Stake Center. In the LDS Church, a Stake is a larger geographical area of LDS Church members, and it is composed of several local congregations, known as Wards or Branches. Twice a year, LDS Church members in a particular Stake gather for special religious meetings, known as Stake Conference. We attended Stake Conference, and we enjoyed these religious meetings and feeling God's love. The American Fork Hillcrest Stake Center is clean and well-maintained, and it is also peaceful and welcoming to those who attend it. All are welcome to attend and learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- DMDavid MeffordJul 2, 20235.0The Rose Garden Humanitarian Foundation uses the church building every Wednesday morning to make quilts, feminine hygiene kits, dolls, teddy bears, infant clothing, and sleeping mats made from discarded plastic grocery bags. These items are donated and distributed to refugee camps and orphanages around the world. We work with other foundations who facilitate the deliveries. If you are interested in helping, please contact me for more information.

- MTM. Ryan TaylorMay 11, 20135.0Worship services begin at 9am, 11am & 1pm on Sundays in the chapel. Usually the service consists of music, prayer, sacrament (communion/the Lord's Supper) & a spiritual message.I currently serve as the music chairman for this Stake (a stake is an area of congregations that get together once every 6 months for a conference), and attend weekly meetings elsewhere, but there are some really nice people here. If you come on the 1st Sunday of the month, the service is a little different. After the sacrament, the time is turned over to the members to (voluntarily) bear their testimonies of the Gosple of Jesus Christ. Sometimes eloquent, sometimes stuttering, but usually heartfelt. It's something unique we do.
