Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.

I love to see the temple! This is the most special place on the planet and how lucky am I that it's a mere five minutes from my home! I've been able to see the blessings flow into my life while striving to be temple worthy and attend frequently to feel the holy spirit and grow nearer constantly to my heavenly father.

All temples are wonderful but some have some hidden gems on the grounds for those days you are waiting outside at wedding or just want to stop by the grounds for a little peace and quiet or to recharge during a crazy day. On the North front side is a little, well shaded sitting area. Also the grass and trees a little further North just call out to sit and contemplate life ir have like I have seen a little impromptu picnic with that special someone or the fam. I am sure there are others hidden around the grounds.
