  After my stepdad’s funeral service in Florida, he was transported to West Virginia for his second service and burial. West Virginia was home to him, and Fields Funeral Home helped us complete the final part of his journey with so much kindness, dignity and compassion. From receiving my stepdad after his transportation from Florida to helping our family arrange and set up his service, the staff at Fields Funeral Home took care of everything. They were attentive, patient and empathetic throughout the entire process. Having people who understood what our family was going through and handled the details with such care made an incredibly difficult time a little easier. The service was beautiful and the flowers were absolutely lovely. I was especially grateful for how the burial was handled. We did not have to stand there and watch his casket being lowered into the ground, which made that final goodbye feel a little gentler for our family. My stepdad specifically chose to return to West Virginia, the place he came from, for his final resting place. There is something comforting about knowing that after everything, his country roads truly did take him home, to the place he belonged. I hope he would be happy with the farewell he received. We are very grateful to Fields Funeral Home for treating him, and our entire family, with kindness, respect and dignity throughout his final journey home.

  They did a good job with my son even if Biggers wasn't in charge. They only had a insurance on him cause of his kids.

  We had the opportunity to work with Jerry from Field's Funeral Home when one of their community members passed away in Cleveland. These types of arrangements can be quite difficult, but Jerry and his team were excellent. They are very organized and displayed a high level of professionalism. The community of Masontown, WV is lucky to have a funeral home like Field Funeral Home to serve them at their time of need.

  Everyone is very friendly, helpful and accommodating . I haven't had to be involved in funeral/service arrangements before. They were very patient and understanding.
