  Kingwood Funeral Home has helped my family through two losses in a very short period of time. The staff have all been exceptional in their professionalism as well as their empathy. One loss was expected while the other was unexpected and tragic. My family appreciated the time they spent with us in explaining details. They gave us time to process and work through our questions and answers. Our family feels genuinely cared for during this time of grief and difficult loss.

  The loss of a family member is considered to be one of the most traumatic experiences you can have in your life. Couple that with the disappointing behavior of a care facility, and that can cause the family to be wary of others after the loss. We do not live in the Preston County area, so we had to rely on the funeral home to handle the interment. We were apprehensive about how things would go but found that Sidney Felouzis at Kingwood Funeral Home & Crematory was kind and considerate; she kept us informed, and we quickly realized we could rely on her. She did everything she could to ensure our loved one’s wishes were carried out. We believe you will be well cared for by Sidney.

  Kingwood Funeral Home and Crematory did an amazing job with the recent passing of my husband. They handled my husband with care and respect when they came to our home. I could not thank them enough on how professional and compassionate they were with me and our children. They go above and beyond and I could not recommend them enough. I am forever grateful to the staff and owner as they helped ease the process and were there for me every step of the way. Thank you! Janice Root

  Can not say enough good things about Kingwood Funeral Home AND their Staff. They went above and beyond to help me out during my mother's funeral. They were also tremendous during father-in-law's funeral as well. Thank you all again.

  VERY courteous, compassionate, and attentive to every detail. Although losing a family member can be a difficult, trying experience, our experience was relaxed, due to the staff having shown they care.
