- SWSterling WallAug 6, 20245.0First to be honest about it, I go to church here. So this is not unbiased. Having said that, we also don't put signs out telling people what time services are. Even though anybody is welcome to come. So if you're interested in learning about what Mormons really think about and do, then call the local missionaries and find out what time church is and join us. You might learn a few new things, but probably the biggest thing is what you won't see. Like you're not going to see any polygamists LOL. You'll see plenty of pictures of Christ. Yes, the exact same Jesus from the Bible 🙂 And a small group of people trying to help each other be better each week. I remember asking my classes one time to break into small groups and describe different cultural groups and apparently Mormons are their own cultural group. Basically what they came up with after the short reading was, Mormons actually believe that God still talks to people through a living profit just like before. And, they also believe in actually doing what he says. I thought you know what? I'll take it. It's a win.
