  Not thrilled with rules they break in caring for the elderly community. Every time I visit, I cannot seem to locate the owners or the nurses to talk about the care they provide and the concerns I have. As a CNA, I know how hard the job is and how difficult it can be to keep employees. They need to provide a snack in the evening since they serve supper at 4 and breakfast at 7. That is too many hours between food offered. They need to make sure they are serving food that matches dietary restrictions or health concerns. Saying they can eat in their room any snacks they have is not acceptable. When a resident wants to get up and needs assistance of any kind, you need to help them. You cannot subject them to being restrained because you may not want to get them up and move them. This can cause terrible pressure sores. I know the job is hard. It requires people with big hearts for the elderly. It requires compassion and thick skin at the same time. The elderly have lived most of their lives being able to decide things and now they are in their last years with very little choices to make. They need dignity and kindness as does your staff. Thank you for hearing some of my concerns. I know there's always more sides to a story, but Ive not had the chance to talk to the top folks to figure out your side. Please love these precious elderly. Thanks for what you do and for trying all the ways you do to improve and care. There are evidences of that as well. Your facility is very beautiful and well maintained. You proved lots of great activities they can participate in. The facility smells clean And that's a BIG deal.

  Mom was looking for a new place closer to family members after the passing of my dad. She was living in a Nursing home in MN and we were happy to find a spot in memory care for her at Woodstone. She has adjusted well and seems to be doing even better in her new and caring environment. The staff is friendly, acknowledges you when you visit, and seem to really know the residents.

  The staff and administration at Woodstone Senior Living in Rice Lake has gone to great lengths to make sure my parents receive not only the care they need but also respect and kindness that they deserve. When you love your family you want to know that they are being treated the way you would want them to be treated. During the pandemic and before Woodstone staff and admin always looks for ways to improve the quality of care and the quality of my parents lives. Not only with big things but with the little touches that just brighten my folks day. They truly do love their residents. This daughter says THANK YOU!

  We found all staff to be kind and caring. Though my dad could be difficult at times, he was always treated with compassion and dignity. Caregivers and administration always had time to address our concerns and questions.
