- SSShawn SkaggsMay 7, 20265.0I was here and casually witnessed an amazing and highly professional action from the new YMCA pearl Street in Tacoma. The director Faith had expertly handled a very difficult and upset member who is being very rude to everyone in the lobby. All of the staff is well represented under this amazing leader Faith. Alex and angelique in particular are very kind and excellent staff members. I'm very proud to say that my son who is interviewing here will be honored to work with an organization with leaders like Faith. Shawn Skaggs

Locker rooms are smaller than expected and experience depend on if kids are supervised because i noticed parents let their kids run amuck. Decent size and would come back if staff enforced behavior expectations for parents/children alike like at other YMCAs

When I swim laps, I observe the lifeguards and am impressed by their focus and professionalism. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to welcome and assist you whenever you need help. It is an inclusive place where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Finally, the classes and workshops offered are varied and appealing.
