Its a decent Y. Home Y is Sumner, but I do like the steam room better here. Showers are hit or miss but have generally been clean. Be careful going in though, I tried using them once and walked in on 2 different people who didnt lock the doors.

I don't really care much for the new weight room, it's not as spacious as the older one and it seems like less options available for stationary equipment and free weights. It might be what one would consider "all inclusive" but it's not accessible to all if the elevator happens to stop working. There are no restrooms upstairs where the weight room is located, so you'll either need to walk the stairs at either end of the second floor or take the elevator down and then walk to the locker rooms.
The family locker room doesn't have sanitizing wipes for use, however the adult women's locker room does. You'd think they would put these inside the family locker room since there's a lot more people which means a lot more germs to wipe down the benches where we sit to change or the showers that we use.
The pool area is new and clean, however the hot tub area is much smaller than in the older building. I haven't tried the sauna area. Careful as you enter a restroom that says "unoccupied" because if the person forgot to slide the lock inside you could potentially walk in on someone changing. My advice would be to always knock first.
When exploring the older side all the old cardio rooms upstairs and the stationary equipment that used to be downstairs as well as the free weight room is now being used for what appears to be classes but every time I'm there, it's empty. So in my opinion it was a waste to get rid of the old equipment. They should have left it while adding to the new side to give people more options and space to spread out.
The bigger cardio room downstairs is still the same and usable. And the other rooms downstairs all remain the same, except the rock climbing wall is on the newer side now.
The gymnasium side is still the same and there's still options to walk laps up top.
I just think the design wasn't well thought out. It was obviously drawn up by a person who's completely out of touch with those who has special healthcare challenges or physical limitations because in order to access the cardio equipment you'll need to walk from one building to the other by way of their own make shift tunnel or you can hop in your car and repark.
The staff is all friendly for the most part but some of them have no idea how to utilize the computer at check in. So always ask for upper management when necessary.

Such a cool facility! I love the new section and I can’t wait for them to update the rest. The pool is amazing and the child watch is great for young parents with small
Children.
