  I am so glad I moved in to Merrill Gardens. I never dreamed I would move to a place that feels like such a wonderful home and ever since losing my husband I have been fully supported here. I have never received better service. I am so at home.

  They take advantage of old people. It’s unbelievable and the residents pay a lot of money to live here. My grandmother was robbed by staff. And turns out it is pretty common. Lots of residents have been robbed. They stole her wedding ring, a gold necklace her mother brought from Italy when she immigrated here, two gold chains and her pearls. And now they want to raise her rent. I think the problem is up top. Management needs to create a healthier work environment and pay employees better and create a culture that values the elderly instead of taking advantage of this vulnerable population. This is an epidemic— elderly people getting taken advantage of. Shame on you Merrill gardens.
