  I can't say enough good things about Interbay KinderCare. The staff is friendly, the classrooms are welcoming, and it's clear the children are loved and well cared for. Highly recommend!

  Our 16 month old has been attending here since he turned 1 and we have had such a wonderful experience! Staff are incredibly attentive to our son, and we appreciate all the photos and updates they send throughout the day. Our son absolutely adores his teacher Jessica in the toddler room and he’s had many positive interactions with some of the other classroom teachers as well. We are very impressed with how well these teachers have learned about and understand our son, and they are always asking questions to better support him— it is clear how much they care for him, which we greatly appreciate. Staff always seem smiling and engaged whenever I’ve observed them with any children. Communication with teachers and directors at this site is excellent. We were initially a bit concerned in enrolling him here after seeing some of the reviews about the transition from the old daycare to KindCare, but it is clear that they have put forth the effort to address concerns, listen to feedback from parents, and implement change and follow through. This was our first daycare experience and we have felt comforted and reassured by the care our son gets here.

  Since KinderCare took over, the quality of care and overall environment have declined significantly. Communication throughout the transition was poor, and it quickly became clear that profit was being prioritized over the well-being of the children and staff. Teacher turnover has increased, meals have declined in quality, and the level of care my son received was VERY disappointing. I couldn’t get him out of there fast enough. It’s unfortunate to see such a wonderful community center lose its heart and focus on the families it serves.

  Like many families everywhere, my husband and I work full-time and rely on dependable, quality child care for our four-year-old. In May, KinderCare bought the independent center he has attended most of his life. Since the transition, more than 15 teachers quit because of pay and working conditions. Families were asked with increasing regularity to keep children home or pick them up early because of staff shortages. Fresh meals were replaced by prepackaged food. Communication is nearly nonexistent from KinderCare. It's as if they've never done such an acquisition before! We are dismayed by their obvious priority of profit above quality care and working conditions. We have since moved our child and would not recommend this center.
