My daughter was enrolled at BH West 8th for ~7 months since 6 months of age. I was extremely nervous dropping her off at such a young age...is it too soon? Should I take more leave? I cried so much on her first day of daycare. That said, shortly after starting, I could see how well taken care of she was at West 8th. The infant room's staff were attentive, detailed oriented, and helped us through every milestone (teething, bottle nipple size transitions, nap changes). Their facilities are also amazing, everything is immaculately clean. We were also in the toddler room for a few weeks and she thrived. We left because we moved out of downtown and the daily commute was just too much on my daughter. We did even try to make it work after moving. If it weren't for distance and the struggles of commuting, we would have never left. We truly recommend BH West 8th as it's the best daycare decision we've ever made and I'm so appreciative of the time we had there! Thank you Iulia, Gabby, Mariana, Ruby, Hana, Brenna, Melissa & many more for making our time there so great!

We’ve had such a great experience here over the past year! We moved to Seattle from the East coast and I was honestly pretty nervous about finding good childcare in a brand new city, but this place made everything so much easier on us.
My daughter started in the toddler class with Ruby. Ruby was so kind and patient with her and really helped her feel comfortable right from the start. Now she’s in early preschool with Shantea, who has been amazing too, so caring and really invested in helping her learn and grow. They do a lot of art, music, and movement activities and she’s learned so much, she talks way more now and can even put her own jacket on!
We also have to give a shoutout to Cherie, who my daughter absolutely loves, and to Melissa and Brenna for running such a warm, welcoming center.
We’re moving to a place closer to home soon, but we’re so grateful for the time she’s had here. Definitely recommend it!

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Bright Horizons at West 8th. From the administration team and directors to the teachers, everyone has been warm, welcoming, and genuinely supportive from day one.
The infant room teachers have been especially amazing with our daughter. They are kind, attentive, and clearly love what they do. Our daughter has thrived in their care, and it says a lot that she gets excited as we walk into the center each morning.
As first-time parents, we also greatly appreciated the daily updates and photos, especially during those first few weeks. They provided so much reassurance and helped us feel connected throughout the day.
We are incredibly grateful for the care, love, and positive environment Bright Horizons has provided for our family.

We love this center and all the teachers there. We were at a different location previously and transferred to West 8th 2 years ago. We were so impressed by the professionalism of the teachers, the minimal staff turnover, and the extra care they took for medical issues. The center’s outdoor space is awesome and our kids love going to school everyday.

The West 8th center and its leadership have done a terrific job providing back up care for our kiddos. The curriculum is well received by both of our children and they enjoy their teachers. In general, we have had a great experience with all of the BH centers we have used for back up care, but this one is a favorite for our children.
