  On October 23, 2025 we moved into a beautiful apartment at Emerald Heights that fulfilled our needs. We were welcomed by friendly staff members and residents and quickly felt comfortably at home. So many things we are experiencing are way beyond our expectations. The exceptional caring and helpfulness of staff and residents, exceptional dining, variety and number of activities, and beautiful campus. And last, but far from least, is the assurance of lifetime care. What a comfort to us and our family. How special it was to have had Cindy Leung introduce to all of the above. She is welcoming, friendly, caring, understanding, patient, professional, knowledgeable. It did not take long for her to assess our needs. She listened carefully, answered our questions and informed us of the features, benefits, advantages and opportunities that would be available to us at Emerald Heights. We felt assured that our needs would be met here, and we were right. Moving to Emerald Heights has been a great decision for us, and we are so thankful to Cindy for helping us make that choice.   My wife and I toured Emerald Heights with Cindy. She was very professional, thorough and answered all our questions. She explained the many benefits of living here and also stressed that residents are very active in all aspects of the community. Both my wife and I want to be prepared for our later years and this very much seems to us to be a great option. We also met several residents all of whom told us how much they loved living here. We have made application in order to get on the waiting list and look very forward to all the amenities the community has to offer.

  My wife and I had an excellent experience with Emerald Heights in Redmond, Wa. From the moment we began exploring this continuing-care retirement community, the marketing staff (Brittanie Atwood, Kayla Steilen and Claire Ness) stood out as exceptional. They were warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly generous with their time. They helped us thoughtfully evaluate which unit would be the best fit for our needs, and their guidance during the upgrade and customization process was invaluable. Every suggestion they made was practical, well-informed, and focused on making our future home more comfortable and enjoyable. What could have been a stressful, overwhelming decision instead felt smooth, supportive, and genuinely positive. Emerald Heights impressed us not only with its amenities and continuum of care, but with the professionalism and kindness of the people who represent it. Highly recommended.   When Mom first entered EM, we often ate with her for special days in the dining room, and it was a delightful experience. Things have definitely fallen off, a lot. The food, the service, the choices - all have declined.
