I recently registered my daughter to start at Bright Horizons Redmond on August 3rd. Due to some documentation delays on my side, she didn’t begin, and I fully accept their regulations regarding paperwork. My decision to cancel our enrollment on August 5th was based entirely on what I observed during our visits. Unfortunately, the overall environment did not feel welcoming or child‑centered. Several staff members, including management, spoke to us in a dismissive and condescending way when reviewing our Canadian vaccination documents, which are handwritten on the passport. I wasn’t upset about the policy itself — I understand they need proper documentation — but the attitude was unnecessarily teasing and unprofessional. More concerning were the interactions I witnessed with children. Teachers walked past us without greeting or acknowledging a new child. In one infant room, a baby was crying intensely while the teacher remained focused on her phone instead of comforting the child. On what was supposed to be my daughter’s first day, the classroom teacher didn’t introduce herself, didn’t greet my daughter, and simply said, “You drop her off, you can go.” When I returned to cancel the enrollment, the manager’s first response was not to ask why or what happened — she only reminded me that I wouldn’t receive a refund for the month. The lack of curiosity or care about a family’s concerns was disappointing. I ultimately chose not to place my daughter here because the atmosphere felt unfriendly, inattentive, and not aligned with the level of care I expect for a young child. I hope the center can improve its communication and engagement with families and children.

Our child has attended Bright Horizons Redmond from age 2 up to pre-K, and our experience has been great throughout. All the teachers and staff are incredibly warm and friendly, and always greet the kids by name with a smile. Our current pre-K teachers, Sharada and Wurood, are excellent and treat our child like their own. The kids are kept engaged with all sorts of activities and enrichments, balanced with free play and exercise. They keep a great balance between setting expectations of behavior while allowing individual personalities to come through and let kids be kids. The best thing I can say is that our child is always excited to go to school and even asks us to pick-up later sometimes. All the teachers we've had, from Moussamee to Julie to Apoorva, have been so warm, caring, and responsible that it feels like a big family. I would (and do!) recommend BH Redmond to anyone.

Wanted to take some time to really call out how amazing the teachers at this center are. Our children have gone here one after another since 2018 and have had a variety of great teachers who truly have cared for our children: Narmantha who always has kind insights about our baby's day and taught her how to give really good high fives Apoorva's infinite patience with the rowdiest age group and comforting presence is much appreciated Heba who always cares for the babies as if they are her own and warms the infant rooms with her love and affection (she had all of our babies!) Laksmi and Smitha's room was a fun and stimulating place for our baby to grow when first at the center Elena who is a pro at documenting all the fun they get into during their day through pictures Mousamee who literally took us in from the cold and stayed late when we had car trouble one night Mahalakshmi whose smile and laughter brightened our children's rainy Redmond days Sharada with such gentle patience and listening, was a steady reassurance during tough covid times Kanchana who still remembers and asks about my oldest to this day Marina so cool, her stories of her time repairing helicopters light up my kids imagination Azadeh pitching in classrooms of all ages and bringing such light and happy energy Oksana has brought a whole world of art into our kids lives Center Director Danielle who always is sneaking time to spend with the babies So many more, too many to name, thank you so much

It is a really nice place! Teachers are nice and warm-hearted and share feedback on how my daughter is doing everyday. The app is easy to use to get updates and snapshots. The variety of food and activities is satisfactory.

We’ve had an exceptionally positive experience with Bright Horizons at Redmond, and we couldn’t be happier with the care our twins receive there. From the very beginning, we’ve been consistently impressed with the center’s commitment to maintaining high standards; whether it’s the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, the thoughtfully planned daily activities, or the warm and welcoming environment created by the staff. Our twins look forward to their time at daycare every single day, which speaks volumes about the quality of care they receive. A special mention goes to Miss Narmatha, who has truly been a standout part of our experience. We have seen her go above and beyond, not just for our children, but for every child in her class. Her patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection are evident in all her interactions. Our kids have bonded with her deeply and have grown very fond of her, and as parents, it has been incredibly reassuring to know they’re cared for by someone so dedicated and compassionate. We are truly grateful to the entire team at Bright Horizons at Redmond for creating such a nurturing space for our kids to learn, grow, and feel loved.
