- LMLopez MuseumMay 22, 20253.0This location is mislabeled. This is the historic Port Stanley Schoolhouse, where the Lopez branch of the LDS met in the summer in 2023 & 2024. This is NOT a building owned or operated by the LDS. It is owned and operated by the Lopez Island Historical Society.
- THTerry HillMar 21, 20225.02023-01-06: This branch no longer meets at 162 Small Island Ln on Lopez Island. The branch now meets at the Historic Port Stanley Schoolhouse at 2970 Port Stanley Rd (since the beginning of 2022). I attempted to update the Google Maps location marker, but "Google could not verify your edit". I'm not sure how Google attempts to verify an edit. ~2022-04: This is a small Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Lopez Island, Decatur Island and Center Island. There are around 6 active members in the winter and 12 to 18 in the summer plus visitors. Sunday School is at 11:00, studying the Old Testament in 2022. Our main worship service follows at 12:00. We are a Senior Missionary couple serving the three Branches of the Church on the San Juan Islands. We enjoy the fellowship and service of these devoted followers of Christ and invite all to visit and participate in our worship and gospel study.
