  We started our eldest at ACJMS in March 2019 and had him and our younger son go through the entire school up until Kindergarten (September 2026). Overall, the school always felt safe, my boys had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends, and they each came out ready for Kindergarten. The highlight of our experience was 100% the teachers! Mr. Nate in the Sparrows classroom and Ms. Sara and Ms. Dom in the Seahawks classroom in particular were nothing short of amazing towards our family and are people we will consider family friends forever. ACJMS is a great option for childcare and your child's development IMO and I'd definitely recommend.

  Where do I begin? My child has been going to A Child's Journey Montessori School since the infant room and she is now four. We've had no complaints. All the teachers, and management are very lovely and caring and it feels like family. They are very good at keeping us up-to-date on how she is doing or answering and solving any concerns we may have. My husband and I have enjoyed watching her grow and develop so many great skills since going here. She walks in the door, happy and leaves even happier. Every classroom has its own aesthetic and if you walk around the school, you will see beautiful artwork and fun activities they have done outside their classroom board. When looking for childcare, we weren't looking for the perfect building, we're looking for caring souls that will teach, comfort and love our child as their own. And at A child's Journey Montessori school we found just that.

  There are very few recent reviews of this daycare that are negative, which is why we decided to send our kid after touring. The place looked a bit dingy and unhygienic when I toured, but caregivers and teachers seemed very caring and I wanted a Montessori school. Price was competitive for the area, and we appreciated fresh meals being given and 7-6 care. However, our experience was awful from the start. My kid was fully potty trained but a few weeks after joining, went through a major regression as teachers would just put them in diapers for 2 hours during nap/quiet time and then 2 hours in playground. The potty regression was horrible and lasted a good 6 months. Sometimes my kid came home with poop that had been in the diaper and dried for hours. I would point this out and they would callously tell me you can change before you go home - like seriously, isn't that your job! We repeatedly spoke to them about infection but hardly any care. Another concern is we were told during the tour we would get regular updates but absolutely didn't. We got meagre photos and updates on the app compared to other daycares, so I had no idea if my kid had eaten well. Naps would be enforced so teachers can get a break, but then my 2.5 year old would basically be up till 11 PM and we had repeatedly requested they don't force naps. Nothing. Then, in winter, it was crazy! Kids were combined in the playground after 4 pm when most teachers left (really not sure why this was the case as it is a full day daycare with no option to pay less for half day pick up) and left outside for 2 hours!! Often without gloves. Sometimes, snacks were served on the playground too in the dirt. My kid would come home literally with blue hands and feet and nose dripping from hours of being out in the cold, dried poop in diaper, and eating a dirt covered cheese stick from playground. We were completely beside ourselves and complained frequently but there would be a change for one week, then back to square one. Despite being full time working parents, we basically scrambled to pick up at 3:30 pm to save our kid from the playground. Finally, we had no choice but to lodge a formal complaint, as other parents had also complained about these things to not avail. The preschool room was also awful, despite big promises of a Montessori curriculum. The teacher was totally negligent and I saw abs no sign of Montessori being practiced except for a handful of activities I can do at home. Our child continued to be neglected, save for one assistant teacher who was incredibly caring and wonderful. Yes, they do have some excellent caregivers but the place severely hygiene, leadership, and consistency. At preschool, we would get only one or no update of the day (some days the Procare report for the day was signed in - playground - signed out and that's it) and have abs no idea what our kid did or learnt, whether they ate or napped. If we would ask, we would get a cursory generic report or no response. There is also a severe lack of discipline. Don't be fooled by the Montessori in the name, I saw kids rolling on each other, standing on the desks and screaming and it was always a jungle in there during drop off and pick up. Our kid managed somehow, despite the neglect and bullying, and was a real trooper but we were concerned and unhappy every day they went. So glad we've left the State and transitioned our kid to another preschool. Costs less, same services, and dramatically better. Our kid is finally excited to go to school, we'll cares for, and thriving.

  Must tour! Really great environments with lots of hands on learning activities. Structured schedules and curriculum. Lots of family activities so we can connect with the staff. Management is always available if we have questions. Love ACJ!

  A Child’s Journey School es una guardería que realmente estoy encantada que mis hijos asiste ahí las maestras son muy muy lindas y amables literal todo el personal de ahí son súper amables estoy enamarada de la guardería por toda sus anteciones y que sigan así gracias 😍😍😍😍
