  I recently visited Heron's Key with my son. We toured Skill Nursing, several common gathering areas, and had a healthy, well prepared meal in the restaurant. He overwhelmingly approved of my choice to spend the golden years there. His comments included that all the staff members he had encountered looked happy, the residents he engaged with were friendly and the grounds and building appeared well maintained. All things that spoke volumes about the management. An hour after leaving the restaurant I received a call that I had left my wallet on the table.   “We wish we had moved to Heron’s Key when we were younger so we could have even more years here.” We heard this sentiment from so many welcoming residents when we joined this vibrant all-inclusive retirement community. The management team and staff are clearly focused on supporting seniors who want an active lifestyle with diverse activities and lifelong learning opportunities to enhance their physical and mental welfare. Our Sales Counselor Heidi was very thorough and patient in talking us through the process of learning about Heron’s Key and reserving an apartment. It felt more like a “How can I help you achieve your goals” workshop than a sales pitch. We are so excited about this new adventure: a beautiful place to live, delicious dining options, a supportive network of residents and staff, and a continuing care system all within our community. We are very happy to call Heron's Key home.

  Moving to Herons Key 7 years ago was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. Making new friends, becoming part of a active and engaging senior community has been been way more than we expected.

  My husband and I are future members since we have put down a deposit and are waiting for a place to open up for us. The staff have encouraged us to visit often and to feel at home before we move in. It has been a delightful experience. Top notch staff friendly residents.
