The VCU Child Development Center offers full-day care and developmentally-appropriate education for the families of VCU faculty, staff and students and surrounding Richmond community. Our center offers more than traditional daycare -- it's a place where children benefit from top-quality care and learning experiences shaped by the research and expertise of the VCU School of Education faculty, staff, and students. This collaboration brings mutual benefits, fostering hands-on learning for early education students while enhancing our children's educational environment. One of just 12 centers in Richmond to hold a National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation, the CDC is committed to a safe, nurturing environment.
