It’s never a great experience planning a funeral for your mother, but this location assisted and made this process as smooth as possible. Andrea was our primary point of contact & her customer service was amazing. She was very attentive and responsive. Our officiant was Roshawnda Pearson & she is the absolute perfect person to bring light to a room. She’s sweet, caring, family oriented & does everything in her power to honor your loved one. The only reason I’m not giving 5/5 ratings is because it seems that there is no continuity when Andrea wasn’t at work. When I called in on her off day, the person that answered seemed genuinely confused about what I was talking about.

Everly Funeral and Cremation services did an outstanding job in preparing my wife’s cremation. They provided all the necessary death certificates and were very professional in their performance. The cost was very reasonable. I want to thank them for making a sorrowful situation very comfortable.

We are forever grateful to Everly Funeral Home for the compassionate care they gave during my grandmother’s funeral. From the very first phone call, Ashley guided my mom and me with patience, empathy, and respect, helping us through a process we had never faced before. Every detail was handled with thoughtfulness and genuine care, making an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable. We felt truly supported, comforted, and understood throughout the entire process. We cannot thank Ashley and the entire Everly team enough for their kindness, professionalism, and heartfelt attention 🤍

I never thought I would have to do this so soon after my parents. These arrangements were even more difficult because it was unexpected and so sudden and for a dear brother in law. I reached out to Everly via email and was connected with Ashley and she responded right away. Although these arrangements were delayed she and Andrea worked me through it all from beginning to the end. Everything was beautiful and perfect for my brother in law. This was hard for my sister and her family and I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. My sister and her family did not have to worry about anything. Thank you Everly.

Frequently Asked Questions About Everly Community Funeral Care

What is the purpose of embalming?

Embalming sanitizes and preserves the body. Embalming makes it possible to lengthen the time between death and the final disposition, allowing family members time to arrange and participate in the type of service most comforting to them.

Does a dead body have to be embalmed, according to law?

The Federal Trade Commission says, "Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial."
