  KinderCare Fairfax has been a wonderful experience for us. Ms. Salma, Ms. Seble, Ms. Saima, Ms. Binita, Ms. Umme, and Ms. Hina are all incredible. These ladies truly understand how to care for children - they are nurturing, attentive, and kind, and we always felt that our son was safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. As director, Ms. Hina creates a truly welcoming environment and is so responsive and supportive. The entire team understands how difficult it can be to leave your child in someone else’s care, especially when they’re so young, and made us feel comfortable and confident. The teachers also communicated really well throughout the day via the KinderCare app - we had a steady flow of photos and updates which is amazing for new parents!

  We’ve had a wonderful experience at this center. I’ve noticed so much growth and development over time—learning new skills, gaining confidence, becoming more independent, and building positive relationships. The teachers and staff are caring, supportive, and truly dedicated to the children. Thank you for all the hard work you put into helping them learn and thrive every day!

  We are very disappointed with KinderCare in Fairfax. We first toured the center in December 2025 after being told there was an available spot for our 5-year-old. By the time we completed the application process, we were informed that the spot was no longer available. We understood that these things can happen. However, the director then told us that there would be spots available in March. So we opted to wait rather than find somewhere else. When we followed up in March, we were told the openings would actually be in May. When we checked in May, we were told that it was actually June 12 when several spots would become available, although space might be tight because siblings of current students would also be joining for the summer. Now, as June 12 approaches, we contacted the center only to be told that they are overbooked and no spots are available. What has been most frustrating is not the lack of availability, but the repeated misleading assurances that openings were just a few months away. Based on what we were told, we chose to wait rather than pursue other childcare options, only to be given new dates and additional assurances that never materialized. As a result, we spent six months waiting and now still not having childcare for our child. The director has suggested other centers, but those locations are farther from our home. Overall, our experience with this center has been marked by poor communication and repeated inaccurate representations about availability. We left feeling misled, frustrated, and very disappointed.

  We absolutely love Fairfax Kindercare! The Director, Ms.Hina communicates proactively, and creates a very professional experience from the prospective parent conversations all the way through day to day drop off/pick up/ recap of the kids days (app with meals and activities, potty training progress, diaper supplies needed etc.). Also we moved to NC this weekend and a good measure of how much our kids love it there- our two year old was grumpy, cried, and didn’t want to move and said her teachers “best friend”. We were cautiously optimistic transitioning from an at home nanny to daycare would go well last year and the team here made the transition seamless. I didn’t worry at all after day one about our 6 month old, two year old, or four year old. They came home with smiles and art work to share every day. Their manners were great. They loved learning with kids “at school”. We are so sad to leave these wonderful people in our move out of state. Highly recommend this center and team for childcare.
