Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.
I can't comment on the inside but the outside grounds, like all Temples, was so peaceful and simply beautiful to see.

The Vernal Utah Temple has a peaceful feeling the moment you walk onto the grounds. I really enjoy that it doesn't look like a traditional temple from the outside since it was originally built as the Uintah Stake Tabernacle. Knowing a piece of local history was carefully preserved gives it a unique character. The red brick, white trim, and mature trees create a beautiful setting, and everything is kept so clean and inviting. It's the kind of place where it's easy to slow your pace without even realizing you're doing it.
One of my favorite parts is simply sitting outside for a few minutes and taking in the quiet. The landscaping is beautiful without feeling overdone, and there always seems to be a gentle sense of calm in the air. Whether you're visiting for worship, family history, or just admiring the architecture, it's worth spending a little extra time on the grounds instead of rushing off.

They built a beautiful temple in the former tabernacle. Very small but includes everything a larger temple has and has the greatest people.
One does not buy tickets but can make an appointment. One must be a member to enter.

This temple is very beautiful and peaceful to walk around. Access inside is limited to worthy members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but the grounds are well kept, welcoming, and peaceful.
