  Absolutely breathtaking. I visited the Orem Utah Temple expecting a peaceful religious experience and instead found myself standing before what appears to be the headquarters of an extremely well-funded organization with impeccable landscaping and a surprisingly sophisticated dress code. The building is gorgeous, the grounds are immaculate, and the entire place radiates the unmistakable energy of a civilization that has collectively decided that matching clothes, secret handshakes, and extremely specific rules are somehow going to solve the universe. The architecture is genuinely impressive, although I did spend a considerable portion of my visit wondering how many meetings it took to decide that this was the appropriate amount of gold, marble, symbolism, and ceremonial seriousness for one building. Everyone is incredibly polite, which somehow makes the whole thing even more suspicious. Nobody is yelling, nobody is chasing me with pitchforks, and everyone smiles like they know something I don’t. Classic cult behavior. Allegedly. I have no evidence. Please don’t sue me. Overall, 5 stars for the building, 5 stars for the landscaping, 5 stars for the sheer architectural magnificence, and approximately 0 stars for my ability to understand what is happening once the secret ceremonies begin. Would visit again purely to stand outside and contemplate how a religion managed to create a structure that looks simultaneously like a sacred house of worship, a luxury hotel, and the final headquarters of a very polite secret society. Absolutely spectacular. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys beautiful buildings, elaborate rituals, and questioning whether they accidentally joined something without realizing it.

  The Orem Utah Temple is honestly one of my favorite temples. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place, and every time I come here I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have a temple so close to home. There is something special about being on the temple grounds and being able to step away from everything going on in everyday life for a little while. The temple itself is beautiful, both inside and out. I especially love the setting with the mountains surrounding the area. The grounds are always incredibly well maintained, and there is such a calm and welcoming feeling from the moment you arrive. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the temple is a very important part of my faith. It is a place where we can worship Jesus Christ, make sacred covenants with God, serve others, and be reminded of the eternal importance of our families. I always seem to leave the temple feeling more peaceful, grateful, and focused on the things that really matter. The people who serve at the Orem Temple are also wonderful. They are always kind, helpful, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I have been fortunate to visit many beautiful temples, but the Orem Utah Temple has become one of my favorites. Having such an incredible temple right here in our community is a huge blessing. It is a special place that I always look forward to visiting, and I would highly recommend stopping by the grounds if you are in the area.
