The gravesite care taker that we are approached by every time we visit is completely rude and invasive. I will definitely get his name the next time and I am already bringing this issue to the attention of the Cemetery. This man is completely disrespectful and insensitive. On one occasion, we were approached by him and he told us that we couldn't leave the vase that we had. We had no intentions of leaving the vase. It was used to transport the flowers. He then proceeded to ask us where we had parked. We didn't have the moment alone with peace and quiet that we had expected to have during our visit. This last visit was even worse. We attempted to leave flowers and again approached by the same man telling us that we needed to move our vehicle because of a nearby service. We mentioned that we were not in a hurry and since we were parked on the opposite side that it shouldn't be an issue. He told us that we were going to be blocked in. We witnessed him attempting to direct traffic that was coming in, which in turn caused a limo driver to hit a stone bench. After this, he came to tell us that they were going to be removing flowers. The sign in the cemetery said the flowers were being removed the following week. We witnessed him kicking out and pulling flowers, decorations etc from other gravesites closely around us. He was kicking out and throwing everything in a pile with obvious animosity. He almost slipped and fell because of this. It was pure spite and rage. This was the first time in 16 years that we had to leave with the flowers that we brought. No one's gravesite deserves this level of disrespect. I understand that people have to do their job... but in that field, I would expect a lot more respect and sensitivity. We live out of town and we drive in to visit our mom's gravesite, we expect to be given the opportunity to spend that time with our loved one, in peace.
