I’m disappointed with my experience at this daycare. I have a 5 year old , and this was his first time ever attending the daycare. Within his first week, he had two bathroom accidents and was sent home without shoes. I spoke with staff about my concerns and was told that the children in the school age class are expected to go to the restroom on their own and that staff do not have bathroom schedules nor do they remind them to go. The teacher’s response felt dismissive when I explained that my son was brand new to the daycare and still adjusting to the environment. The assistant director later gave me the same explanation. I understand the expectation of independence, but I felt that some reminders or check-ins would have been appropriate for a 5 YEAR OLD THAT JUST STARTED IN A NEW ENVIRONMENT. I can understand one accident, but two within the first week was concerning to me, especially when he was sent home shoeless. I respectfully reached out to the director through the daycare’s messaging app to express my concerns and hopefully find a solution. Unfortunately, I never received a response. That was probably the most disappointing part of the experience. I don’t expect every concern to be handled exactly the way I would handle it, but I do expect a parent who takes the time to respectfully communicate a concern about their child to at least receive a response.

My first son started kindercare in 2021 & we have never had a bad experience. Both my younger kids started at 3 months old & they are very warm and caring with all the babies. The staff make you feel welcomed and like family. Ms. Jaime & Sarah are the absolute best! We have no plans on leaving, therefore we will stay til my kids outgrows daycare. Thank you kindercare for being good to my babies.

Crazy to think the review below was 4 years ago! My husband and I talk about how grateful we were for Jamie and her staff here at the oakhurst location, my 5 year old just started school and she is soo smart. I know they have played such a heavy role in how she turned out and set up for success she is in Kindergarten. Had we not moved she would still be there! Jamie and her staff are so nurturing, understanding and supportive. They have such great communication! For 5 years they created a safe place for my girl to grow. If you are in the spring area look no further for childcare! OLD POST: Literally as a first time mom I was so scared of sending my daughter to daycare , I put it off as long as I could . When I couldn't any longer I did some research and went to visit KinderCare at the Oakhurst location and they made me feel better and comfortable. They answered all my questions . I’m constantly getting updated on things going on in the center . The communication from Jamie, Annette , and their team is really impeccable. Love love love this center . And so does my baby girl.
