  We ordered for an out-of-town funeral, so we had to go with a florist that we don't usually work with and WOW, The Flower Box knocked it out of the park. I didn't see what I was looking for online, so I called and talked to Maria about what I was looking for and if they could help with it. She was so wonderful, attentive and created the most beautiful arrangement. 10 out of 10 for sure! My sister is a florist, so I'm super picky, but Maria took all of my notes and created the most beautiful arrangement.   A friend used this business to send me birthday wishes from San Marcus, TX last year, after being homeless 7 months and getting a roof over my head again. The arrangement was lovely & lasted a long time. So this year I decided to treat myself. The least expensive is $65 plus $12 delivery. So, for me, a splurge on the smallest arrangement. I spent time expressing why I was doing this and the colors/possible flower types to include. The delivery was due to me dog sitting at a home I do not reside in and made clear by repeating. I selected delivery, although $12 more, because it was about 1-2 miles from them and me dog sitting at a residence not my own. This conversation took place around 11:15-11:30 AM, and at 12:30 PM no flowers. At 2:30 pm, I opened the door to check for their arrival. There the bouquet sat. They had been delivered at 12:59ish. The two dogs never barked at the ring doorbell that was supposedly rung. No hard knock for me either. I did call their shop to chat about my experience and in earnest wanted nothing more than to express-please do not assume a doorbell is heard or works. Make sure someone comes to the door when you’re paying $78 for flowers and in the heat of 100 plus degrees -flowers were wilted and the water in vase was hot, not warm. The employee CUT me off mid-sentence to tell me, “We will just refund your money. CLICK!” I was not asking for that. Perhaps a kinder tone, a mere apology, or we are happy to deliver a new bouquet. Nope-and I was so thrilled to FINALLY know where they were located and order something special to enjoy on my birthday this year since last year I lost my dad and became homeless 7 months-which I shared with the initial employee. I am sincerely saddened by the customer service of this employee and unsure I would recommend them further. I believe 4 stars is generous for the tone and lack of customer service. Perhaps this employee who I spoke with was having a bad day.
