  GPA has been a wonderful place for our second daughter. She is 14 months and unfortunately has allergic reactions to milk, soy and severe reactions to egg. All of the teachers work extra hard to ensure she gets the food we prepare each day at home for her and that there is no cross-contamination during meal time...which is no easy feat with toddlers! Our 10 year old also spent a few days between her summer camp ending and school starting and she also said she really enjoyed it. All of the teachers are so great and the administration team with Payton and Amanda have been very responsive and wonderful as well. We sincerely appreciate all of the care they have shown our daughter and we are so happy the have her attending GPA!

  I cannot say enough good things about Guidance Preperatory Academy. My granddaughter attended this school for a year and everything was excellent. The teachers in her room (for early toddlers) were caring and excellent communicators. Since my step-daughter was non-english speaking, they were great in accommodating. Unfortuantly, we had to leave the center, due to the distance and excessive traffic from our home, but miss the care that this center provided. Highly recommend!

  My daughter in just 1 year since we have joined at Guidance Preparatory Academy. She has grown so much. We’ve noticed her positive school values carrying over at home. Mrs.Ashley and Mrs. Wendy are amazing teachers for Pre-K . They take pride in celebrating your child’s achievements, big and small. They are committed in helping them overcome challenges. I feel so comfortable taking my child to GPA! The staff and Teachers are energetic, and truly passionate about education. They connect with students, fostering a positive learning environment. I feel so lucky, and blessed, that we’ve had found this school. ❤️

  We started going here 3 years ago when it was Pettit Private School. We had some issues from the start with lack of communication but the director was wonderful and always tried to fix any issues we had. Since the new management company took over in early 2024 and it switched to GPA, it has gotten so much worse. They got rid of the director and hired a new administrators that are totally incompetent. On top of that, they’ve raised their prices 3 times in 11 months and have messed up their billing on my account multiple times and had to reimburse me. They bought a bunch of new toys to try and make it seem like they’re making improvements but at the end of the day, many of the teachers they have now are incompetent and the kids’ behavior is evidence of that. My daughter used to love going to school and by the time we pulled her out, she cried every day she had to go. Some of the teachers for the younger kids are wonderful but the new administrators are terrible and they will likely run this place into the ground. Their attitude is so bad and they constantly complain about the parents and the teachers when they think people can’t hear them. I wouldn’t recommend putting your kids through here, especially if they are 3yo+.

  This preschool is amazing. They care about the kids and work really hard with all of them. I am very happy with PPS!
