Schmidt Funeral home did a top notch job of handling my wife's funeral. They gave me a list of things her family needed to do and they handled all the rest. They were kind and compassionate and extremely professional. Jordyn, our funeral director, was always available for questions and advice. Marty was our officiant and our friends and family thought we had known him for years, but he met with our family for an hour and a half and wrote an amazing obituary and made the ceremony entertaining and touching. Could not recommend Schmidt more. They were amazing.

Stephanie did such a wonderful job making a difficult time as stress-free as possible. She gave us such care, kindness, and flexibility in allowing us to honor my mother-in-law as best as possible. Stephanie truly went the extra mile, including surprising us with table decorations that, if you knew my mother-in-law, fit her perfectly. Her recommendation of our officiant, Marty, was also great--without him the service would not have been as beautiful as it was. I know that this process is difficult and can be so hard, but the team at Schmidt really shined. I am so glad we picked them.
