I go every week and put fresh flowers for my precious mom, dad and other family members and I come from Missouri City TX Everytime I go lawn is not cut or weeded. I realized we have crazy weather in Houston but it's ridiculous that this cemetery cannot be cleaned up. Al though the side nearest to IH10 is always very well kept. Why?
This issue has been disappointing. I run into people visiting their loved ones and they too complain about this. I've seen many people bring their own weed eaters to clean up around their loved ones headstones. Why do they have keep up when we all paid top dollar for the space.
What is the problem with your hired maintenance personnel? Just saying.
If I would have known this about this cemetery I would not have bought plots at Woodlawn.

went to visit my dad who is buried here and some how the vase that holds the flowers was laid on someone else’s stone, like if someone unscrewed it that was very disappointing to see. i know it’s been raining quite a bit lately so i can only assume that’s why the grass wasn’t well maintained, i hope my next visit i see a difference.

Overall, a great experience. Steve and Sean were two guys wonderful to work with. They helped us put together a funeral service that was honoring to my Dad who we had buried there. They worked with us on cost and even threw in a few extra things we weren't expecting. We will be returning to Woodlawn for more business, but hopefully in the far distant future.

Steve and the professionals at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery have been so amazing and helpful through this whole experience. They arranged the perfect service that my mom requested. Steve's assistance with the Veteran's Service for my parents made a challenging time so easy and stress free. They helped with my grandparents and dad's services in past years and the professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail have made times filled with so much emotion and difficultly so peaceful. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and exceptional service over the years.
