Where to start. The good: maintenance men are nice and helpful as well as woman who cleans the laundry facilities, lobby and common use rooms. People at the front desk are generally friendly and do their best to be helpful. Apartments look nice aesthetically. Location - You are literally 10-20 minutes from everything!
The bad: There is currently major bed bug issue running rampant through the apartment complex and residents do not adhere to the protocol set forth by management and management is not enforcing the protocol. Therefore you cannot enjoy the common use areas to include the lobby seating, activity rooms and the patio. At least monthly, the water is out for a day with Mother’s Day being the longest of almost three days with no water and management was off premises and slow to respond nor were they being communicative. The roof is about as old as the complex (over 75 years) and is always leaking. Whenever there is heavy rain the top floor apartments as well as the ceiling in the common hallways have caved in and flooded apartments. The lobby at one point about two months ago had a huge 6ft by 6ft gaping hole and it took a month to repair it. If you walk through the top floor in each building and in many of the apartments you can see there are current holes, water damage spots, mold on the ceilings and bubbling. At random the exit doors won’t open which is a fire hazard. Additionally, one of the elevators has been out for a month. They said they were waiting for a part and now it’s they are working to replace it but can’t provide residents with a timeframe. Beware as this is not disclosed: there are no stoves! Only a flat two burner option that does NOT come with all units. Also, there are no washer and dryer hookups which wouldn’t be so bad if the laundry facilities weren’t constantly broken.

I’m a Resident here at Treemont and in the beginning it was fine but then after a while we noticed our water always comes out Yellow!!! So many times they have to shut the water off to repair the boiler!!! They are always repairing the BOILER!!! I have had to take cold showers many times!! The last one I had to take with cold water was Mothers Day!! I was so upset! I had referred a nurse to come and try it out over here that I had worked with here at Treemont Nursing facility here on the property, but she didn’t put my name down on the application so she said she went to the office and let them know but they totally ignored her and stated to me that I was lying about the referral!!!! So is it really worth referring someone here!! The office is probably taking the referral money and just completely lying about everything!! Me personally took her name and the apartment or floor she is on. I person talked with the nurse like a week ago and she was gonna go back to the office but who knows because the people in that office are Worthless!! The one lady that helped me to move in is no longer there!! And she was the bomb!!! This building is very old and is not suitable for elderly people!!! I had to fuss for them to put lights on on the outside parking lot!!! It was dark for Months!!! This place was convenient at the time… But it’s a very shady place to live…. So I wouldn’t recommend! I will not be renewing my Lease!
