When I lost my husband unexpectedly last month I had no idea the decisions that need to be made to lay him to rest. I am forever grateful to have had Sarah Strachan as our funeral director. She met me with such compassion and empathy that I'll never forget it. She allowed me to have private moments with him so I could grieve in my own way. We have four kids and she was so sweet with them especially when we found out she is a fellow Disney lover. She helped put together a truly beautiful service, getting all the details right, from his love of the Brewers to his love of cooking. Little touches everywhere that just made it feel so special and unique to him. I don't think I can ever adequately express my gratitude to Sarah and to the Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home. When I was experiencing the darkest, hardest time of my life they were a great support making it easier to bear. Thank you again!

My Dad passed away unexpectedly and Sarah was truly a Godsend to me and my family. My father died suddenly and she kindly and expertlyguided us through the process of planning his memorial service. The service was perfect.Additionally, being able to have the Visitation, the Memorial Service, and the Reception that followed all in the same beautiful building added to the quality of the entire day. On the day of the Service, my daughter and Son-in-Law were in a terrible car crash on their way to the funeral home. (They were hurt, but will be ok.) Sarah was there for me when I got the call about it, led me to a quiet room so that I could react without disturbing the other mourners, helped me formulate a plan, and more. She was with EACH of us family members at tough moments guiding us through one of the worst times of our lives. I highly recommend choosing her as your Funeral Ambassador, as she is called on the website.
