DONT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN MEMORY CARE! They make it sound nice but its far from nice. They continually over promise and underdeliver. When they show you the activities calendar some of the activities will get done and others won't. The calendar is full just to make it look good. Every Friday they have happy hour but rarely do they bring memory care patients down unless family members come in and take them themselves . My biggest complaint is med-errors. If your loved one needs medication administered, they may get it late or not at all. I'm surprised that a resident has not become very ill due to medication errors. I have discussed this multiple times with the CEO, the director of nursing and corporate only to fall on deaf ears. Do not fall for the bright and shiny beauty of the building. Take a very close look at the care that they receive because it's not what they sell you.

Thankful for Rock Steady boxing program . Brittany runs a top notch program meeting the needs for people with Parkinson’s. Her personal assistance used to ensure you respond to her program and additional help from Abbey make it happen . I have improved in stability and strength since my first day and notice the difference when class is missed . Brittany’s system and changing, organized, exercise stations covers all muscles that are strengthened and less rigid .
The program encourages a safe, supportive, caring environment that also fosters discipline that promotes progress not perfection !

I have visited Grand Living numerous times to take photos and videos of musicians playing for the residents for their Friday happy hour events. I notice the excellent interaction between residents and employees, as well as cheerfulness and camaraderie among groups of residents.
The Friday social affair is very nice and it's evident that the residents look forward to it and also enjoy the happy hour food, drinks and live music.
I take numerous photos and videos, edit them and post them with a complimentary writeup on Facebook. The facility appears to be well run with a very nice staff of employees, reflecting good management!
