Stay away! First, I’ll start with what most of the negative responses mention, the director. She’s the most combative individual I’ve ever met in the child care industry. Growing up I was raised by a single mom that was a daycare teacher/director. I often would go there after school up until high school so I do have some memories of the environment and professionalism needed to conduct business in this industry. This director lacks the professionalism and abilities to be successful in that role. Second, children need stability in a learning environment. My son who is almost 3, had multiple different teachers in the same classroom over the course of 6-7 months. Kids can’t be expected to learn the curriculum and learn different teaching styles. One of his teachers also had her child in his class, as soon as this teacher took over we started to receive word that our child was acting up. Keep in mind the behaviors he was “supposedly” displaying weren’t behaviors he was expressing at home. He was written up for his behavior many times which eventually led to a meeting with the director about action planning which we were told would be us “partnering” together. After reviewing the write ups, the vast majority had nothing listed for “outcome” so we had no clue if they were actually attempting to correct the behavior. The scary part was we found many write ups we had never seen before, these write ups clearly had my wife’s forged signature on them. The director’s response to this was, “those teachers don’t work here anymore, I don’t know what you want me to do?” Again no accountability. During this review there was nothing about partnering together. We were simply told that if he had another incident he would be kicked out of daycare. We decided to pull our kids out of this daycare and take them somewhere else. It’s been a month at the new location and the behaviors Highview was saying our son was displaying haven’t been mentioned once by the new location. Overall, an unpleasant experience and would recommend others to stay away.

I cannot recommend Highview enough. As a working mom, I have struggled with finding good childcare over the years. I have worked at centers myself in the past just to keep them close while I tried to restart my career. The love and welcomeness I have felt from this staff and management since starting over the summer has been like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. The teachers and Ms bre the director are literal angels in disguise. My kids come home so happy and thrilled about their day. They have laughed, cried, and shared so many hugs with us through all of our personal journeys. I could not ask for a better facility or group of people to share in helping me be there for my babies when I cannot. They truly love and care for you like family. I cannot praise this wonderful group of people enough. They have all been such a god send to our family. We love you Highview!!

We are very pleased with the care my 2 year old and 3 month old have received. My 2 year old loves her teachers so much and you can tell the staff genuinely loves the kiddos. Mrs B is very communicative and responds to questions or concerns promptly. My 2 year old has come home learning to count, sings songs, follows basic commands, eats well with silverware and is always smiling when I pick her up. No daycare is perfect but this is as close as you can get. HVLC is intentional about planning family events and values the partnership with the families. We love Highview!

My daughter on her second day got bruises. I felt something bad and got to stop by at around 11:00 which she was there only for an hour. The teacher her self had to reveal she had a bite accident as soon as she saw me. I asked if she bites or got bite but can’t answer that. My baby was crying her heart out till she vomits from anger. I asked what happened but she was telling me only because it was her second day. I was curious why she and her assistant wore so in shock to see me and recommended that I should take her home. Because she vomited but had no fever per nurse. I asked for all her belongings and left. Right after we had arrived home I got to give my baby a shower and found out all those bruises in her body. I called back to have an explanation but the manager said it should be an insect bite. From her I think you all should take what you need because a mom knows the difference from bruises and bites.

In our opinion, Highview is one of the top childcare facilities in the area. Our daughter has gone here from age three to now kindergarten and we can honestly say that she has been incredibly prepared for her school year(s). Childcare with an emphasis on Christian education was of upmost importance to us and we've been extremely satisified with the care provided by their staff at every age level. Matt and Stephanie, the owners, have really created a one-of-kind experience for all the kiddos and we pray that Highview continues to thrive.
