We put our two children through GPA for the last 5 years, and unfortunately it is a tale of two stories. This school was everything you could ask for at one point until a year and a half ago. But do yourselves a favor, please read the state reviews, where GPA cannot manipulate what reviews are being left. The prior administration and current have failed, and the empty classrooms and parking lot you see are the result of it. For the last 6 months I often walked into the school to find the front desk being completely unoccupied, and when it was they couldn’t even bother to greet you. On our children’s last day to attend this school it was easy to feel the fact we were never anything more than a number to the new administration when we walked out without as much as a goodbye or thank you.
I do want to give credit to a few of the teachers who positively impacted my children’s lives and showed their true colors by remaining themselves despite the turbulent times GPA continues to go through, Mrs. Cait and Mrs. Kayla. Thank you for all you have done for us.
I would no longer recommend the place that I entrusted my children’s well being with for such a long time, and the second chance we gave this school was never rewarded.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Guidance Preparatory Academy in Bartonville for our child during the ages of 2–4. The teachers are incredibly patient, loving, and attentive. Ms Amanda and Ms Emily pour their heart out for the students daily. We’ve seen so much growth in communication, social skills, independence, and early learning. The staff creates a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where little ones truly feel cared for and excited to learn. We also appreciate the Bible based curriculum, prayers, songs and engaging activities each day. The Christmas program was very cute. Summer events were fun for my child to look forward to. Highly recommend for families with toddlers and preschoolers!

Guidance Preparatory Academy in Lantana has been a fantastic school for our family. The environment is welcoming, structured, and focused on both academic growth and overall development. The school creates a positive and supportive atmosphere where children feel encouraged to learn and grow.
We’ve been especially impressed with Ms. Monica and Ms. Katie, who are our child’s class teachers. They are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to their students. Their teaching style is engaging, and they go above and beyond to ensure every child feels supported and valued. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do, and it reflects in the classroom every day.

Since the ownership has changed, this daycare has gone downhill. Prices have gone up while the quality of care has gone down. The class sizes have become unmanageable for the teachers, and it’s clear that the children are not getting the attention or care they deserve.
On multiple occasions, my daughter was sent home with a severely irritated and bleeding bottom, showing that her diaper wasn’t being changed properly. When she wasn’t feeling well, the co-director refused to call me — she was admitted to the hospital the next day.
There’s also an ongoing ant problem that still hasn’t been resolved, and both of my children have been bitten multiple times. When I’ve tried to address these issues, the co-director has repeatedly been dishonest with me.
I’m extremely disappointed and saddened by how far this daycare has fallen. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, but until then, I would strongly caution other parents before enrolling their children here.
