  The best part of this hotel is the front desk staff, both the night and day shifts (special shoutout to Fartun)! It's in a great location near many medical campuses, and I think the front desk staff is highly aware that some of their guests are undergoing difficult treatments. It made us feel less alone while staying here from out of state for an extended period. Our room was also clean, spacious, well-equipped!

  Everyone here has been professional and friendly... We've been here for a few weeks and no issues! I love the social hour (although they could use some variety) M-W and an on-site bar is always nice! I usually prefer another location cuz it's within walking distance of several live music venues but the larger room with kitchens is easier but I'd stay again plus only a mile-ish from downtown and the Capitol building which is definitely worth a tour!

  If you need to stay long termand plan on cooking, I suggest you bring the cooking utensils and maybe a crock pot if you use one. The staff are very nice and always willing to attend to your need. The kitchen folks, not so much ,basically rude. You can not ask questions or even ask a question. Not nice at all. If you can sleep with the sound of traffic you will be fine. Bed is comfy and clean.the housekeepers are sweet girls.

  Very much mixed feelings about this hotel. We have a few negatives which outweigh the good.... The hotel's web page clearly states as follows: "We even offer a complimentary shuttle within a 2-mile radius so you can explore the city without the hassle." Upon arriving, we found out that the shuttle only runs 6-10pm during the week. Worse it only drops you off at a designated spot. You cannot ask for a pickup. We canceled another hotel to stay at this one predicated on that promise. We were bamboozled for sure. We spoke to the manager and he did not accomodate, nor did he compensate for all the ride shares we had to take. He would not budge. Also, the sink is basically located in the same area as the bed without a door in between. It is simply a horrible design and you will wake up your compinion if you are sleeping in the same bed. This is not the first time experiencing it. However the IHG phone rep had assured us ahead of time there was a door separating the sink and bed. The walls are thin so that we could hear the TV in the the room above us. Could not sleep the entire night. The good news is that thankfully the staff gave us a box fan for rest of stay which drowned out the noise. You could not set the A/C to constantly run/hum - the fan would turn off when it reached the temperature setting. In addition, when the water filled the toilet, it was extremely loud. We asked to have this fixed. Nothing was done about it. We gave up. They did give us a Platinum elite upgrade which was nice. The staff was generally very friendly (with the notable exception above). The hotel was clean. Room was nice. Breakfast was fairly typical but good. Know that this hotel is near a lot of hospitals but not near much else except for a gas station/convenience store across the street. So expect to take a lot of ride shares if you do not have a car.

  Close to both hospitals. Clean and updated. Friendly staff. I just wish someone told me it cost $38.00 to park in the lot of the hotlel.. that is crazy. Tell people that crap... never have I had to pay and even with the discount for Vanderbilt its not worth it. Wish I tried the other one listed now. I won't recommend cause you pay to park.
