Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. My wife and I recently visited as we begin a new chapter of life here in Tennessee, and it was a deeply meaningful experience. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is reverent, and the people serving there were kind and welcoming. For members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the temple is a house of the Lord where we worship Jesus Christ, make and remember sacred covenants, and seek peace, direction, and spiritual strength. I am grateful this temple is here in the Nashville area.
