The Greenville South Carolina Temple was announced in April 2025 by President Russell M. Nelson as the 2nd temple in the state. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for a nearly 19,000 square foot, single-story building.
