Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island (BBBSRI) is a mentoring organization serving young people ages 7-25. For more than 56 years, we’ve been creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth! Each year, we serve 900+ Rhode Islanders, with mentorship, workforce development, emergency assistance, enrichment activities and more. BBBSRI also operates a large-scale donation center, the Donation Center Foundation of Rhode Island, which accepts clothing, textiles, small housewares, and books! Our partnership with the Savers Thrift Stores allows us to generate 77% of funds needed to support our mentoring programs while diverting 3-5 million lbs of textile waste from the RI landfill annually.
