  We were absolutely blown away by The Bohlin. Our wedding was flawless from start to finish. The venue's location is unbeatable, and the tent's natural beauty meant that even with minimal decor, it was stunning on its own. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the cake was a hit.We also loved how close The Bohlin is to Hammett's Hotel. The whole sequence of events — rehearsal dinner at The Mooring, the wedding at The Bohlin, and brunch at Queen Anne's — was seamless and unforgettable. Our out-of-town guests all fell in love with Newport. I wouldn't change a single thing!

  We had the best experience hosting our June wedding reception at The Bohlin. On the day itself, the team managed the entire order of operations flawlessly—our boat arrival, all the dances, dinner timing, and every transition in between went off without a hitch. The on-site staff and bartenders were attentive and beyond helpful, so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing all night. Wedding food in general can be risky when cooking for so many guests, but we were truly blown away. From the cocktail hour, to dinner, and dessert, the food was impeccable and we received countless compliments from our guests. One thing that made The Bohlin special during wedding planning was the grand tasting they offer couples, where we got to not only experience the food, but so many of the details of the tent firsthand (the lighting, the linens, the chairs) and meet the partners they work with, including Wooden Pin Bakery, PEAK, and Ryan Designs to name a few. It really helps you visualize the guest experience. We especially loved that there was a separate cake and dessert tasting with Wooden Pin, where we got to try all the dessert options in an intimate setting at their Middletown location. We can’t say enough good things about our event coordinator, Caroline. From the moment we were paired up after the tasting, she made the entire process seamless. She was responsive to every single question and always clear about our available options. She worked directly with our third-party vendors in the final lead-up to the wedding, which was one less thing we had to think about. She was so kind, easy-going, and made what can be an overwhelming process, a breeze. Jackie was also wonderful when we first chose The Bohlin, reassuring us and answering our questions upfront in those early stages. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to, and The Bohlin’s food, service, and atmosphere played a huge part in that. We were beyond lucky that we had essentially perfect weather and a beautiful sunset, but I had no doubts along the way that we were in good hands with plenty of contingency plans. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our Newport wedding!

  Having our May wedding at The Bohlin was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Our coordinator, Fiona, stayed in constant communication from the get -- always kind, understanding, and helpful. Having a May wedding is notoriously a gamble weather wise and there was slight chances for rain on our day. Fiona squashed our fears and provided contingency plans upfront to alleviate any anxieties of the day. It sprinkled ever so slightly post-ceremony, but as The Bohlin reassured us, it still was the most beautiful experience and none of our guests hardly noticed. Walking into the tent was an absolute dream come true. The staff, bartenders, and vendors collaborated seamlessly, and everything to the dances, to the food, to overall guest experience was beautifully choreographed start to finish. I can't recommend a better venue in Newport for an elevated tented setting with the most professional, nicest, and most fabulous team making your day feel extra special!
