  Beware folks. The tour you receive is wonderful but after you move in most things mentioned are not what they seem. Most employees are not friendly and helpful. The dining/kitchen staff turn over frequently so the food and service are not consistent. Amenities are discontinued but prices go up 10% each year. Rooms are not cleaned weekly and need a refresh. Laundry returns clothes wrinkled, shrunk and folded in your sheets. Staff is also inconsistent regarding questions on outside services and internal practices. Our family would not recommend.

  Both my parents resided in this community for a number of years and it was perfect for them. They had lots of friends and activities, they even got my mom to visit in Alpaca Farm. The staff is friendly, supportive and available. They provided my mom so much support when my dad was sick and finally passed away. My mom continued to reside in this community after my dad died and it was a blessing to her. Both are now gone but their lives were so much more enriched by being at Merrill Gardens. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a place for their parents. Thank you to the staff for all their support.

  We had my aunt at Arbor Square for many years and were very happy with the service and care they provided her. The staff is very attentive and always willing to work with the family.

  Working with Alyssa and the other Merrill staff was a wonderful experience! Alyssa is very easy to talk to, approachable and knowledgeable. She helped to set my Mom’s mind at ease about her move and has continued to be an encouraging presence! We are very thankful for Alyssa and Merrill Gardens.

  My brothers and I had planned on touring several senior homes for our mom. We wanted to find the right place for her and thought that would take time to find. Merrill Gardens at West Chester was the first place we visited. Alyssa took us on a tour. She was very professional as well as very personable. We had a lot of questions and Alyssa took the time to not only answer them, but also provided additional information. We knew, before we left, Merrill is the place for our mom. We moved her in yesterday and everyone was so welcoming and attentive. I know we made the right choice!
