  Sad. I used to come to this school as an Early Intervention provider. I was excited for my son to come here. Toured and put the deposit down for my son in April 2026 for September 2026. The director at the time was great as responding. We were told we would hear in July about enrollment paperwork. We reached out the last week in July. We found out leadership changed, and the new director and assistant directors were attached to email. No response. My husband and I called the school several times. One time when i called i was told the director was available sitting at her desk. My call was transferred. She never picked up the phone or called me back. The director, Kathryn, was never available to talk. We left messages with staff for her to call, nothing. Assistant director never bothered to respond to emails. After several attempts, in the middle of August I withdrew my son because no one was confirming a spot/responding about paperwork. Then, Kathryn responds begging for us to give them another chance. I declined and asked for our deposit back, because it wasn't our fault that we withdrew. We needed to secure something and no one was helping us. She never acknowledged the email. I had to get her boss, Susan, involved and then Susan had to go into the system to unroll my son. Kathryn still never bothered to respond. I was told we would get our deposit back. Still, nothing. I have sent follow up emails, no response. I called yesterday and spoke to someone asking her to tell Kathryn to check the email and get back to me. Nothing. Sad. It was a nice center and teachers seemed nice. It leaves an uneasy feeling when a director at a daycare has poor communication skills. On local facebook groups, I have been finding quite a few parents have said they had negative experiences at this school, but no one is leaving the reviews here. I would suggest joining local Facebook groups and asking about people's experiences, then message them about their experiences. Thankfully I am very pleased at my son's new daycare, YCCA.

  This was my Grandsons first week here and My Daughter had to unenroll him due to the lack of care, concern and physical overall neglect! I do not want to believe this is due to skin color, however my Grandson has gone all day w/o being changed! My Daughter marked his diaper at drop off in the morning and had on the same diaper upon pickup! My Grandson was completely soaked and sitting in urine for hours! This place needs to be SHUT DOWN for neglect! I will definitely spread the word because this place is not it! Do better!

  We started our son at the giving tree at 4.5 months. The staff made the transition so smooth - something that I was anxious for for months just went out the window. They do creative activities that I would never even think of. The staff are so caring and courteous. Definitely recommend!

  We came to TGT at the recommendation of another parents rave review. Our son joined the infant room at 3 months old and is so happy to be in Ms. Hollis’s classroom. He has learned so much and we love to see him growing so much with the other children in his class. The teachers are very caring and we are grateful to have a great daycare so central to our neighborhood.

  We’ve had a great experience at TGT. The teachers there are extremely caring and really get to know the children. Our daughter has been there since she was 5 months old, and we’ve never had any issues. Our toddler enjoys going to “school” and has really blossomed being in such a loving environment.
