  All 3 of my children have been going to Discovery Junction for years now. My 1st grader has been there since she was 7 months old and she still gets so excited to go to daycare to see her friends and teachers. My 3 year old has been there since he was 2 months old and he loves all of his teachers and looks forward to going to daycare every day. My 4 month old has the best time at daycare as well and is always so happy and is starting to create bonds with his teachers. All of the teachers there are professional, respectful, and kind. They do their best every day to teach the children, help them grow, learn new things, and meet their milestones. The new management is wonderful and listens to parents concerns and/or needs and is very professional and kind. My kids look forward to going to daycare every day and I love all of the stories they tell me about their day.

  If you’re looking for your child to be left in classrooms, unattended, no communication or notification regarding anything during the day, then this is the place for you. Discovery Junction in Campbelltown/Palmyra. Last week my 17 month old son was left alone in a classroom for approximately 10–15 minutes while the rest of his class was taken outside, and another staff member eventually found him crying and screaming. What is even more upsetting is that nobody from the daycare informed us about the incident — not during the day, not at pickup, and not afterward. I later learned about it from someone outside the center who had heard about it through staff connections. Since then, I have repeatedly tried communicating with the company for answers and accountability and have received little to no response. We immediately withdrew our son, filed a police report, and contacted the appropriate state agencies because parents deserve honest communication and the assurance that their children are safe and properly supervised at all times. Absolutely horrible.

  The teachers were wonderful with my daughter and the hours were great for my work. The only downfall was that the kids take a long afternoon nap (2 to 3 hours!) and then were very difficult to get to bed at night!
