  Unfortunately, our family has been very disappointed with this assisted living facility. We have had ongoing concerns about the quality and consistency of care, communication, and whether our loved one’s needs are truly being taken seriously. We have been given information that was not truthful or did not match what we later discovered, making it very difficult to trust the staff and management. One of our concerns has been the food. Meals are frequently served cold, and there have been multiple occasions where food has been brought to my father-in-law that he cannot eat due to dietary restrictions. This is especially concerning when the facility is aware of his dietary needs. We expected our loved one to receive basic, compassionate care and for our concerns to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, our experience has left us extremely disappointed and concerned. We do not recommend this facility and would encourage families to thoroughly research their options and ask detailed questions before placing a loved one here.

  Avoid placing your loved one at Sun Terrace Hermiston. I would describe their level of care as mediocre at best. Management seems more interested in money than providing adequate care to their residents. There are some good staff, but many seem to do the bare minimum and their turn over rate is high - a sign of mismanagement. We have been repeatedly misled by the current administrator who makes excuses and passes blame. Now we are in the position of needing to find alternative placement.

  My sister moved in on February 8th 2021 after a severe fall at home. The nursing staff dropped the ball Physical Therapy still hasn't started, her fingers are becoming contracted, she also developed a stomach issue since she has been there which is making her very bloated, distended her stomach, and she is nauseated constantly. I was there for 2 weeks and got involved, I found out the paper work was not completed correctly on the doctors end, the Nurse coordinator didn't investigate untilI I became involved and insisted on more info. I had to go back home to Oklahoma. Still no resolve of either issue as of this post. We are very disappointed in their efforts. They follow up alot with no results. Would not recommend this facility to anyone.
