Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.
Beautiful, peaceful House of the Lord. To go in, You must have recommendation. The grounds would be beautiful for anybody to visit. Great work and miracles happen here. Families are joined for eternity here. Great service is given here. It is a building full of peace and love and unlike any other... Like all temples of the church of Jesus Christ.

Technically in Central Point, OR, but close enough. This is smaller than most of the temples that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints builds, but that's hard to remember when you're standing on the grounds looking up at it. It's a big building - not sure what kind of stone, but it looks great. Very well designed with good proportions. The grounds around the building are well-kept and pristine. Very peaceful. Would recommend for anyone looking to get away from the world for a bit.
