This would be a place to send your family that you hated. I am a minister and have been for over forty years. Sally called me in her office and accused me of being a pedofile because she said a young can had walked into my room and saw me naked. First before the cna was to come in my room she was to knock. Second I never sleep naked and I always sleep with a blanket over me. They refused to send me to the hospital after I had a bad fall. So again send your worst enemy to have Sally take care of them

If you hate your loved ones, send them to Westbrook Gardens. None of the staff, including the director Sally, is equipped to handle elderly people. My mother in law has mild dementia and we wanted to help and be involved with her care at WG. We would only receive phone calls when it became a huge issue to them. Several times we were asked to have a family meeting and each time we agreed, we were told it was no longer needed. Then we get a call that she has to move in 30 days. No meeting, no interventions, nothing. Jessica, who is in charge of medication administration, was the worst! She would literally wait until my MIL was completely out of her prescriptions to reorder. When I asked about it, it was always Walmart Pharmacy’s fault. It was a pretty big issue when she would reorder her insulin when she ran out. I would even call and be sure there was wasn’t anything that would need to be refilled before my husband and I would leave for the weekend. I was assured she would be fine while we were gone. Sure enough we would be on our way out and I’d get a text that a prescription was needed.
I understand that activities outside of the facility were stopped due to COVID but the residents literally did nothing!! As most parents and teachers know, boredom leads to behavior issues.
Seriously think about the well-being of your loved one before you leave them to Westbrook Gardens’ care.
