Our family has trusted Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home through several of life's most difficult moments over the years, and once again they exceeded every expectation. During our most recent loss, Linda Newsom, Pam West, and the entire staff treated our family with such kindness, compassion, and professionalism that we truly felt like we were being cared for by friends rather than simply working with a funeral home. Linda has an incredible gift for guiding families through the many details that come with planning a service. Her compassion, patience, and attention to every detail made an overwhelming time so much easier. Pam was equally wonderful, always available with a warm smile, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care. Every member of the staff we encountered was respectful, caring, and committed to honoring our loved one with dignity. From the first phone call through the service and beyond, they made us feel supported every step of the way. When your family is grieving, having people you can completely trust is priceless. Lawton Ritter Gray has been there for our family for many years, and they continue to provide the highest level of care and service. We are deeply grateful to Linda, Pam, and everyone on the team for the love and compassion they showed us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Review – 7/21/2026 I live in Mississippi, and I recently had to coordinate my brother’s funeral arrangements from a distance. Choosing Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home was truly a blessing. From the very first moment I called, I was met with compassion and professionalism. Dena answered my call, and her kindness immediately put me at ease. She listened patiently as I explained the reason for my call and guided me step-by-step through everything I needed to do — all while I was hundreds of miles away. She supported me throughout the entire week, including the weekend, and never once made me feel rushed or alone in the process. Before leaving for vacation, she assured me that I would continue to receive the same level of care, and she was absolutely right. Linda stepped in seamlessly and provided the same warmth, attentiveness, and excellent service. Every detail of my brother’s arrangements was handled with care, from coordinating with Ft. Sill National Cemetery to ensuring his death certificate was completed promptly. Their team worked closely with me, treated my family with dignity, and showed genuine compassion during one of the hardest moments of my life. I am forever grateful for their support. May God bless this team with continued success — they truly serve with heart.

I wanna thank their director Linda for further traumatizing my already traumatized family by presenting our loved one so poorly, and then doing so AGAIN once given a second chance. Reasons given: "my hair might have been in my face" or "I might not have had my glasses on at the time" and "you know, stuff happens" and "the lighting in that room is different than the other room" and "most people want a more natural look." Some of this could have been avoided if she had ever made a single basic-duty phone call to the family before their viewing to make them aware of critical issues with his appearance or to ask for a photo or to see if they had any requests. The makeup was so bad I ended up applying some myself just so that further family arriving wouldn't have to see that. The ashes were also later handed over still hot, which is unforgivable. When you have a job like this where your efforts and words are delivered to people at their very lowest point in life, you can't be on cheerful yet apathetic autopilot. I hope this review reaches a grieving family before they ever choose this place.
