  There are no words that can truly express how grateful our family is to Evans funeral home for the care and compassion they showed us during one of the toughest moments of our lives. Losing my mom was incredibly difficult, and trying to make arrangements while dealing with such a deep loss felt overwhelming. From the very beginning, the staff treated our family with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. They never made us feel like we were just another family making funeral arrangements. They respected our wishes and helped us through every decision with understanding and care. What meant the most was the way they helped us make sure that my mom’s service truly inviting and peaceful! I will always remember the kindness shown to our family during a time when we were hurting and struggling to say our final goodbyes. Thank you so much for all that you did for us! I will forever be grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and care you showed my family! Lou and Emma have been so wonderful during this time! I couldn’t ask for anyone better! I definitely recommend Evans funeral home to any family facing the loss of someone they love!

  The care and service our family received was so helpful. Lou gave us information to guide us in making decisions. He further supported us as we planned a Celebration of Life at our church. He quickly responded to so many requests and questions. It truly made this difficult time easier to navigate.

  Lou and staff did a very good job of helping me make arrangements as I had to transport my husband to a different state to be buried.They were caring and kind which I appreciated.The Sunday morning when my husband had died I was not happy with the two young women who came from Evans.I didn't feel they had the social skills to be professional nor sympathetic,honestly they acted like they were there to pick up an object rather than my husband.I realize I was in shock and it was early Sunday morning but in your business it is uniquely emotional and your customers need support.Then later that day one of them called me to ask if I wanted him shaved?! I was very upset by that as it seemed so irrelevant and unnecessary.closed casket burial not until May 26 and this was April 26th.That shows me they had no instructions about what to do.Then she wanted me to email a photo of my husband !I told her I didn't care what they did and hung up.I have not called Evans to complain but as time has gone by it bothers me more.
