My nephew attends there, and I honestly say I can see why he begs him mom not to go! This incident was a few weeks ago. I had called my nephews mom, and she was actively picking him up. She was explaining to me how one teacher had recently quit and she was suspecting it was from the stress of the classroom, and I wouldn’t be shocked if it was true! What I heard was unacceptable. There was a boy flipping things over and throwing chairs. He had tried to attack numerous children. One kid was bleeding. Kids were playing in the sink and soaking the floor. Toys were being thrown at other children. Children were jumping off of the toy shelf and tables. Those children were unhinged, and those poor teachers looked increasingly overwhelmed. I feel bad for those women. Hopefully KinderCare can do better to give the teachers some extra assistance in the classroom and hopefully get something done about the aggressive behavior, because I will be letting everyone know that Middletown KinderCare is not a safe daycare until that classrooms behavior has been changed for the better.

My kids have been going to this daycare for a few months now, and since day one my son has come home with scratches, bite marks, and injuries that have now turned into scars because of incidents with other children. The biggest issue isn’t that kids sometimes misbehave it’s that the behavior isn’t being controlled. I’ve personally witnessed children picking up chairs and tables, throwing them, standing on furniture, and completely ignoring the teachers. The staff seem overwhelmed, and I honestly only trust two teachers there. I’ve been reporting the same ongoing concerns for months, but nothing meaningful has changed. Incident reports don’t seem to accurately reflect what’s happening, and it feels like the same child is repeatedly hurting other children while the reports don’t always identify that pattern. I’ve even been told a child injured an adult by spraining their wrist. What concerns me even more is that once we told the daycare we were considering reporting the situation to the Ohio Department of Children and Youth because our concerns weren’t being resolved, it felt like the focus suddenly shifted to my children. Before we mentioned making a report, we had never received behavior reports about either of my kids. After that conversation, it seemed like they were trying to portray my children as the ones with behavioral issues instead of addressing the repeated safety concerns we had been bringing up. The moment that really broke my heart was when I dropped my kids off and heard another parent say her son cries every day because he doesn’t want to come because, according to her, the other kids beat him up. No child should be afraid to go to daycare, and no parent should have to wonder if their child will come home hurt. KinderCare, our children deserve a safe environment. Please do better.

My daughter absolutely loves to go here she loves all the staff and her teachers. She loves all the kids that are there. She’s so comfortable with going. They brought her out of her shell. She has learned so many things and speak so much more now!

My son started here at age 3, my daughter started here at age 6 weeks. I've been with this daycare for a total of 10 years between the 2. When my daughter was in diapers/pull ups, they made sure she got changed in a timely manner. They would post in the app they have when she got changed and why she got changed (wet/soiled) I also was able to see what she ate for the day. I recently stopped daycare with them since both of my kids are in school now. My daughter is also lactose intolerant and they made sure she got her soy milk every day. I've never had a complaint with them. I would definitely go back to them if I had another child. Definitely recommend this daycare! ❤️
