With reliable care here at University Circle, we have the luxury of the freedom to be fully present at work while knowing our child is safe, cared for and developing in a nurturing environment. My son loves to go to KinderCare daily -smiling on arrival and always smiling and having fun at pick-up. We love KinderCare because they are our extended family. My son has been there since he was 3 months old and is now a toddler and all his teachers and especially the director Chantal have become family. Without local family support, raising a child alone would be difficult, but KinderCare makes it easy and has provided us total peace of mind. Their extended hours compared to other child care centers in the community, enable us as young parents to both pursue our dream careers. As a Cleveland clinic physician, I highly recommend this center and tell all my friends and colleagues in the area.

I honestly regret choosing this Kindercare. The manager, Chantal, was consistently rude and unwelcoming. Instead of listening when parents have concerns, I felt like management and staff would immediately become defensive and gang up on you rather than trying to solve the problem. It created an uncomfortable environment where you didn’t feel heard or respected. The educational level was also disappointing. After almost a year, my daughter actually asked why they don’t teach ABCs like other daycares. Compared with other childcare centers, there was very little learning or engagement. My daughter also got hand, foot, and mouth disease three different times while attending, which made me question the daycare’s hygiene practices. I’m a physician at Cleveland Clinic, and I’ve heard similar complaints from several colleagues who also ended up pulling their children out after only a few months. Looking back, I understand why. I plan to ask Cleveland Clinic Human Resources to reconsider recommending this daycare to employees, as I don’t believe it reflects the quality of childcare many families expect. In my opinion, this daycare relies heavily on its convenient location near the clinic, but there are much better options nearby with more caring staff and stronger educational programs.

We live close by and work close by as well, needed sustainable childcare for my kiddos but they stopped taking vouchers at this location…. Sad to see those of us who live near by can’t attend because of Cleveland’s gentrification happening..
