05/07/2026 – Visited a relative who recently arrived for physical rehabilitation. The facility appeared nice, clean & very spacious. She said her care has been good so far, although she isn't a fan of the food.
Most of the experience was positive overall. A few staff members gave somewhat awkward glances rather than just greeting us, but aside from that, everything seems to be going well at this point.

When making a appointment for a loved one to get their hair cut, you would think they would write down the right person's name of who it is needing it. Nope, they wrote my grandma's name down, whose name sounds nothing like the one they were supposed to do. They cut off all of her hair. It looks terrible! My grandma would of never had it cut this short if she was her "normal" self. In the past this beautician has cut another residents hair too short without permission and upset the family in the past. I think the person who made the mistake should be held accountable. I also think its time for a new beautician.

Night shift nurse Lydia the most deeply unpleasant nurse I’ve ever meet in my life at this facility. I wouldn’t trust her to care my pet hamster let alone a human being. She makes me want to give this facility negative stars just from the possibility of her taking care of someone I care for. You cannot ask her to do the smallest task from her without her miserable personality coming through and ruining any small amount of joy you may have in your life. She makes the grinch look pleasant. Besides that the rest of the staff is friendly and helpful.

If you care about your family member, DO NOT use this facility! By the time we got my family member out of Sanctuary Point, I started thinking maybe they were trying to kill her. Every time I arrived to visit her, she was sitting on one side of the room soaked in urine and her nurse call button was attached to the bed on the other side of the room. If she had had a medical emergency, she would have been dead. She would sit for hours without anyone checking on her. She would call me in the middle of the night because it was so loud she couldn't sleep. And yes, I could hear over the phone, the laughing and loud talking that would be occurring at 1:00 a.m. On weekends, forget help. Nobody hardly on staff. My impression is that employees came to work to socialize. It had nothing to do with caring for patients. On many occasions while visiting, when she would call for help, nobody ever came. When they did, it took at least 15 minutes or longer. When she would tell them she needed to use the bathroom, they told her to go in her diaper. They strip away any dignity a person has left when they arrive there. They also don't go out of their way to keep the rooms clean. This place needs some serious investigation into the staff. Especially directors and supervisors since this type of work ethic is tolerated.
