Mt Washington is HORRENDOUS! My mother contracted LICE! (Yes, still active!) The staff is blaming family; now they WILL NOT TREAT my mother. (One family member lives in FL, and is lice-free, the others had limited contact and are also lice-free.) The first treatment was utterly useless. (Staff did not follow directions and basic protocols that can be found on Google.) Live lice were on her head the next day. She still had a stuffed animal, that had not been washed or dried. My guess is that linens were never cleaned. When products were purchased to assist them remove the lice - they threw out the products! (Over $100 worth!) The nursing staff threw out a metal fine tooth comb thinking it was a one-time use comb. Since this time, the few times they combed my mother's hair they used a dandruff comb, and they place it in a plastic baggie complete with her HAIR!! (Re-infesting her?!)
They did not want to use too many chemicals on my mother's head, as it may hurt her. They did not care about ignoring UTI signs that nearly killed my mother due to sepsis. They have done nothing to repair a glucose monitor that has been broken for several days, or have family fix it (Patient care is the family's responsibility after all!) Yes, she nearly died from her sugars going unchecked, hence the monitor.
If you care about your loved one, stay far away from this facility. My mother has wound up in the ER near death, too many times! Giving this facility one star is one too many.

If I could give less stars I would..the facility is disgusting, the quality of care is horrible and the staff and the director could care less about the patients..my mother wasn't bathed in 3 weeks and when asked about it the staff said they where to understaffed and just couldn't do it..she couldn't feed herself and no one informed us so the left her there for days without eating and when we found out she had to b rushed to the hospital and admitted because she was so dehydrated she almost passed away..there are many many other issues equally as bad to many to list but we are currently in a lawsuit with the facility so please do not send anyone there for any reason!

The place looks nice but believe me, looks are deceiving at MMHC. They truly border on inhumane treatment of those that are on serious condition. The Aides are not properly trained so really can't put all the blame on them. They have an Aide named Bobby and he is hateful, even the other aides seem to be afraid of him.

I travel to nursing home facilities all across the country for my job, this facility is now one of my favorites. The Director of Nursing, Keisha, is down to earth, knowledgeable, eager to help and you can tell has a great relationship with both the residents and staff. The Activity Director, Josie, goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are having fun and fulfilling activities, you can tell she truly cares about the wellbeing of the residents and they adore her. I’ve never seen more residents attend an activity. Impressive! Lastly, the Administrator, Robert, is incredibly kind, eager to create a great nursing home and rehabilitation environment, happy to answer questions, and is overall very down to earth. The facility itself was immaculately clean, and the residents were well cared for. Bravo!
